3 more PMs replied with proof of traffic and earnings.

great site and incredible deal

I just want to comment on the site design. I am tired of these high-end templates with lots of flash and graphics. It's sites like this that make it big. Simple layouts rock.

good luck on the sale

what range of offers have you been receiving?

Not that many offers. 3 reasonalbe offers so far, 150k, 160k, 190k I'm still open to offers and requests to view traffic and earnings. yahoo.com updated yesterday, April 1st, and my site is now in top 35 for "web hosting" up from being in just top 50 so this shows that i'm not selling a stale site but a growing site.

Thanks

Frankly, if you received an $190k offer for a web hosting review site and you're just holding off for higher I'd say you're seriously pushing your luck. A lot of buyers don't like to be put on hold.

RADiSTAR,

yes, I understand. I'm just waiting for people that haven't made any kind of an offer yet and that are supposed to get back to me. I will only pursue this for a few more days at the most.

How much do you spend on advertising to maintain that PR7 and traffic levels?

Not much at all. Most of the PR comes from the partnerships with other hosts and directories (which I don't have to pay) even bigger PR 8 partners like www.hostsearch.com is a free exchange.

In 2004 I spent 3.5k on link purchases and advertising.

This year 1.5k so far. Most of that money is for the www.csmonitor.com and computer.howstuffworks.com links and some for google adwords and overture

Did it sell?

No, but partnered with another large directory that promises to double the income by taking 20% We'll see... but i have a good feeling about it
