You can't appraise a domain until there has been a history of sales for the TLD, so I'm afraid for now the appraisal of "reg fee" is not opinion, but fact.

I'm a little lost here on these new cn names. Is combining an English word with a Chinese country code going to work?
Maybe it's just for search engine resolution? Is that it, or are the Chinese using English as a second language in large part?

I am sorry for you guys who have absolutely no idea how the Chinese utilize domain names, they are obviously a hell of a lot smarter that many of the ignoramus on this forum. Guess what, they use English characters!

I agree 100% ! Regfee is nonsense! I heard that regarding the people who use the internet China already IS No.2 in the world behind US ! And of course: growing fast ! So combined with the fact that they use english characters / words - our .cn are already worth some money !!! I think thatôs a fact, and all this "market has to develop stuff " is nonsense: itôs not as if there is no china already. Itôs there, and .cn is their domain !!

Good folks may disagree on future values, but I have often said that --
"the value of something is what someone else will pay for it"
In this respect, if a couple members here have offered to pay $X for a domain, where $X > reg fee, then it is clearly worth at least $X.

Bull + Bull x 2 ! Why would any german type in "love.de".. ups, of course: because not only americans are able to speak english. Itôs a world-wide language that is taught in school in many countries. So stop this regfee bull. Good names .cn are def. worth some bucks !

Why argue? Obviously if you reg'ed .cn you are going to believe that it is a good investment. If you didn't reg any .cn's it is because you feel most names will not be worth alot.
The fact that $300(personaly I'd run away with it) has been offered for a .cn proves that some .cn names are worth some money to someone. That does not mean that all .cn are worth that much nor does it mean some .cn's arn't worth more, now or in the future.
Give it some time.
