Interesting....I see no mention of any of the names that were purchased. Any one know whose names or what was included in the purchase?

We will see many more, since lots of big investors are entering the domain market.

It means we will face increased competition. There are late comers to the name game but they offset their tardiness with big bucks $$$ to gain an edge over domainers :greensmilewinkgrin:

...or inevitable opportunity. The growing success of the consolidators demonstrates to competitors the necessity of acquiring domainer portfolios before a competing investment group does. They already know how to monetize keyword domains and the growth opportunity lies in acquiring even more and better generic domains.

The sooner they acquire domainer portfolios the better price they will get. Waiting allows the competition to drive up the price. The steady growth of the internet is very much to the individual domainer's advantage ... if the portfolio names are of good quality.
