2 nice LLLL.com up on eBay today, closing in a few hours

I got an unsolicited offer for LRQY.com the other day - $245,800 !!! But negotiations stalled due to some silly appraisal requirement and apparent reluctance to deliver payment in small unmarked bills ... "Come alone. Bring the money. You get the domain. No funny stuff."

so I put it up on eBay instead ...

No offense but the offer you received for LRQY.com was clearly bogus. I, and many others on this forum, have received similar (almost identical) emails with offers like this for our domains. Although we'd all love to believe that our domains are worth $XXX,XXX, it's just not the case... the person that contacted you was simply trying to lure you into paying to have the domain appraised with the appraisal company of his choosing. And that appraisal would be a waste of money and worthless.

LRQY.com's real value is probably less than a hundred bucks.... yeah it's a 4 character .com but it's got 2 letters in it that kill the value - Q and Y. If it were a pronouncable CVCV or CVVC domain, it would be valuable.

Sorry for the bad news but I figured you should know that there are plenty of people out there trying to swindle cash from unsuspecting domain owners.
