Hi, Some of my sites are changing PR. Wussa.com has PR for all its pages now..wee...:p (Ok, so its just PR1~lol..)
Use Check Page Rank to check your PR now!!

Yea just noticed a few of my newer sites picked up some PR juice. Although the last few months I've always somewhat expected the update from forum buzz and stuff, but this time around it sorta snuck and bit my sites in the ***...in a good way at least, lol.

Seeing a hit on sites that sell text links. Been expecting a hit for some time now, but it took way longer than expected. These were all expired domains that were brought back from the dead - they held page rank much longer than conventional wisdom says they can and more than paid for themselves.

Google and I are parting away with respect to PR.
Every time they are killing me.

a site with 70 K indexed pages became pr0

Google turned 10 years today and seems to celebrate this event they updated pagerank for all sites!

Congrats everyone who got a better PR and my condolence for those not :p
Yes, seems like Google is celebrating their PR earlier with their birthday. Some interesting stuff about Google name chosen from another "forum". I'll post it later

I feel for you man. I REALLY don't put a lot of stock in PR when I'm considering something to buy (only to sell LOL).

Anyhow, I have an old, established TGP that was a link list long before I got it. It's always been a PR4, which is not bad. I have thousands of Indexed pages, hundreds of backlinks, dozens of one-ways.

LAST update PR dropped off to 0.
Now I have PR2.

I don't trust PR either. It's just an indicator to use with other tools and that's all.

The crappy part is that people look for PR on a site when they go in a browser with a Google Toolbar. Even with all I said, I still do :(

Agree.
I don't trust PR no more.

I think we all thought PR was something somewhere more important than it is.

I also think most experienced webmasters and/or domainers feel the same way. It's nice to have but it's kind of a toy to make you feel better.

Also, most web professionals know that PR is not fair, it's Google's opinion and it is heavily biased towards Google. If they can't report their own PR honestly, and they do not compared to the real world, then how can they report other sites honestly and accurately?

Anyhow, that's my opinion too, FWIW :)

A site I started earlier this year had PR 1 at the last update. Google took it away this time.
