The new weekly domain sales report is out at DNJournal.com. This was a very unusual week in the domain aftermarket. For the first time since we started tracking the domain aftermarket seven years ago, there are more non .com domains on our weekly all-extension Top 20 Sales Chart than .coms for the second consecutive week. The rise of ccTLDs in recent years has made this anomaly possible. The question is will this remain an anomaly or will it become a fairly common occurrence?

This week's ccTLD charge was led by a pair of country code domains that sold for a stunning total of $750,000 to top our latest leader board. Six of the ten biggest sales involved ccTLDs. You can get all of the details here:

As far as the Year To Date charts, there were a few sales from the other week:

1. Slots.ca $206,906 Pvt Sale/Moniker
2. SZ.com $125,000 Pvt Sale
3. SydneyHotels.com $100,000 Pvt Sale

That I don't see on there.

Thanks for bringing that to my attention! Not sure how those got left off after we reported them two weeks ago, but wiill get them placed on the YTD chart and also double check all of the year's major sales to make sure there are no other omissions.

(Above has been done now - also found some others lower level sales - all from the same week- that belonged on the YTD chart but were not there). Again thanks for the heads up. Cross checked against our YTD database to make sure all leading 2010 sales are on the YTD chart where they belong.
