Parking site Supporting IDN's

That's interesting news.
So far I only know Namedrive, Sedo does not accept all IDNs. I think Arabic or Chinese charsets are not supported by them at this time.
The issue which concerns me is the lack of targetted traffic.

wooo,This's a good news, before I didn't know IDN can park to where

It is not reasonable to expect much traffic at this time. Nearly all local users are know to be still on IE 6.0 with virtually no use of alternative browsers. Until there is that widespread support few companies are going to adopt IDN Urls.

There is some local traffic, but only significant amounts in China, which you won't be able to monetize at this time unless you have a local parking service.

Most traffic on other languages at the moment is from North America, which clearly indicates that is speculators or internet professionals have a look!

Once IE 7.0 is released traffic will start to grow exponentially. Microsoft seem to be getting all the bad news out of the cupboard, announcing delays to Vista and Office, so my guess is that the publicity leading up to the launch of IE 7.0 must be just around the corner.

It would be interesting to know the browser market share by country. I suspect alternate browsers (which support IDNs) are already more popular in some countries than others.
Using ASCII in Asia is like driving a Train on a Road.
I've already seen that quote somewhere :biggrin1:

That's nice to hear, the more sites offering parking the better. Will help to get the word out on the importance of IDN's.

I add my domainnames many days ago ,but until now they are AWAITING APPROVAL.

Hi, what local service you're awared of to monetize china traffic?

I finally learned how to do this idn thing. Nice leaning curve! :)

I can see the potential value and the upcoming market rush.

My question is: What do I do with them now? Can't park them so I can't advertise.

What are your opinions?

Thank you.

You can park at Namedrive.com. Until now they have only provided Adverts in English but it would seem some Japanese Language advertising is now coming through. Soon all adverts will be displayed in proper context in correct language, we hope.

Not much traffic at the moment, but Arabic version of IE 7.0 is being released tomorrow and Japan next week so things are moving at last.
