Please let me have your suggestions on this. I am planning to join paypal and therefore have a few queries.

What's the main difference between pay pal's personal a/c and premier/business a/c?

Regarding personal a/c, following are not clear to me,

1. Can money be withdrawn from the a/c if bank account is not in USA?
2. Can it be used for selling items on a personal web site?
3. What are the concrete benefits of premier/business a/c over personal a/c apart from Credit Card processing?

Thanks much

Make sure you will be accessing PayPal.com from one of their permitted countries. If not you could (will probably) end up in trouble and have your account restricted (frozen). :(

Thank you Guys for the answers. Key points from here is,

1. I can't withdraw money if I am based in India.
2. Personal a/c can't be used to sell items through a personal site.

So, basically personal a/c is "almost" useless for selling stuff.

Does Paypal,

1. Charge anything in any form apart from the money generated through transaction commission?
2. Have any restrictions on account holders, such as minimum number of amount transacted per month or something? And if so what's the fineprint like?

Thanks FoxDale for your offer.

As far as i know they dont charge a monthly fee and unless you negociated special rate you dont have minimum transaction per month restriction
