PayPal Now Charging 8.5% Tax On Internet Purchases For California Or All 50 States?

Hi,

It is not like I have not been online for the last two weeks straight....but how did I miss this?

And/Or when did it start...and who and what does it apply to...all online purchases?

I just purchase a small priced... 'video' software marketing course...on sale, real cheap...with PayPal:

Here Is what my receipt look like:

* Item total $17.00
* Tax (8.500% in California);$1.45​

Never seen it before...maybe it is beacuse we are about $30 Billion in debt...here in "Sunny Ca"???

California is going down slowly but steadily.

Some of the rules they impose are not practical.

My wife wants to move there - I am just putting it on hold.
