I am buying a domain and the seller wants to use Paypal. I am concerened. He will push it to me ASAP. If he does not, does Paypal offer any refunds or guarantees or anything like that?

Hey Kentog,

As the buyer you are far more protected than the seller as you can file a dispute if the goods (intangible in this transaciton) are not delivered. How did you come to the agreement with the seller? Is it a deal on the forum or a private transaction via email? If it is on a forum and the amount is less than $100 I wouldn't worry as long as they have decent reputation. If it is email I would recommend Escrow.com or EscrowDNS - ESPECIALLY if you are paying a large amount.

Hope this helps and good luck! With a bit more info on the price and place of sale more insight can be given.

If the seller is in dnforum, check all the posts and trades he is concerned,
you will get a picture of him, and you can decide which way you should choose to go with him.
