I have a question regarding the famous (with some registrars) sentence:

pending registrar completion

If I asked the registrar x1 to register the domain xxx.xxx to me and it's in the pending registrar completion for many hours/days, can any body from the registrar x2 request the same name and get it?? or the ext director registrar did reserve the name to me??
it's really too important to me to know because I registered some domains with a registrar which marks them as (pending registrar completion) for over 20 hours now and am afraid if any can take them through any another registrar. and wanted to know if this is common because of the ext manager or the registrar I use?
any thoughts here? what should I do?

Is that a .com ?
I guess it's the registrar x1 that has the order in a queue and it could take a few hours to complete. Maybe they are stuck.
If you don't want to take a chance register with another registrar.

thanks for your replay, it's not .com it's .kr (korean) with e3internet.com
I contacted them several hours ago and no answer yet!
is there any body from e3internet here??

I am not familiar with .kr but certain registries do not process registrations in real time (manual approval, processing by batch etc).
Perhaps you could check the whois at http://www.nic.or.kr/ direct and see if your name shows up with a status like pending registration or similar ?

Check the whois:

http://whois.nida.or.kr/

A lot of prime terms are blocked and e3 doesn't tell you, they just take your order, don't charge the credit card and later you see that it's dropped from your pending list without an explanation.

Check that whois. If they're really prime terms and they're unregistered you'll probably see:
"Above domain name is not available for registration."
