Domains in free and cheap ccTLDs are much more likely to host phishing attacks than new gTLDs.
This is one of the conclusion of the latest report of the Anti-Phishing Working Group(APWG), which found that freedom's re-purposed African ccTLDs were particularly risky.


22,679 malicious registered domains were found in the first half of 2014.
