Hi,
I have a fairly large phpBB forum, (1.5K users/35K posts), that I want moved over to vbulletin. And I need someone who knows what they're doing, this isn't like doing a simple hack or mod.

Speaking of which, the phpBB forum has a couple of mods also, like the photo attachments mod, and I would like to bring the photos accross too, so they aren't lost.

There is a script you can download in the vbulletin members area. impex I think it's called.
Will not export mods though, only the basic structure of your phpbb forum.. members, posts, threads etc

Yep, impex will do it for you, that's how anyone would do it if you paid them. If you want old photos as attachments, you'll have to attach one by one using vb attachment feature.

And it's also very simple to use. I've used it several times. If you have any probs with it then the members at vbulletin forum are quick to help out. So you should be able to do it yourself at no cost :greensmile:

Okay, thanks guys, I guess I can figure it out then.

I do have loads of photos attached over 35K posts. I'm going to have to find some way of importing those... :?
