Hi guys

My site pilky.com is getting an average of 700 uniques a day from nowhere, mostly type ins. Bit weird huh?

Anyway, Im looking for advice re:value and what to do to 'monitize' the site - I dont think adsense is great on a games site.

Please LMK what you think.

Pilks.

Lucky you.

Check the linkpop on that one.

Nice to have popular neighbors with oddly spelled alternates to your name.

Best Regards,

Yeah, I had seen that site before - just had a look at alexa and he sure is popular. Wish I had noticed all this traffic before - I only registered the name cos my surname is Pilkington, hence I have the nickname pilky.

Anyone any ideas for what to do with the traffic?

Thanks for the advice - pilks.

"Games" are a funny thing. Read the Alexa description:

"(Official site) Author/illustrator Dav Pilkey of "The Adventures of Captain Underpants" has a predictably unpredictable website with lots of interesting stuff for kids, parents, and teachers."

If (though more than likely) you are getting your traffic from people who don't know the "Pilkey" they wanted is spelled with an "e"... then you are more than likely getting children, parents, and teachers. I'm not sure personally, but children may be the least monetizeable source of traffic. Hopefully other members can chime in with some good ideas.
