Pingoat.com - http://pingoat.com

A sneak-peek at the stats - http://bnsoft.net/images/pingoat.gif

Featured on newspapers like The Guardian, The Hindu, Hindustan times and numerous journals and blogs like Lifehacker, Search engine journal..

I'll sell Pingoat only if I get a substantial amount (since its for my college). Looking for a $xx,xxx number or something like that. Please post/pm for more info.

Thank you.

I am confused. It looks like a personal blog....or does the site offer some other kind of service?

Hi,

Its a pinging service for blog owners. You enter your blogs RSS or XML URL feed and you let the services listed know your blog has been updated with new information.

This is right on the front page:

What in the world is Pingoat! ?
Pingoat is a service that pings or notifies a number of services that keep track of weblogs and publish them. By pinging, you let the services know that your blog has been updated and hence, they crawl and index your site, publishing your blog contents, thus increasing your blog's popularity.

Right now, I havent done anything to monetize the traffic, except for the cpm ad. Pingoat serves over 100,000 unique visitors a month. Can be easily monetized by charging a fee for the service or accepting advertisments from potential advertisers.

And yes, Pingoat is a web service used by MILLIONS of bloggers :D

The ad currently being displayed is from Casalemedia. Its recording like 75K impressions, but for most of the impressions, its serving PSAs. Only around 10K impressions are getting paid ads and its making like $5 - $10 / day. Casale is giving a very low cpm rate.

btw, Pingoat is only 5 months old. It was launched on July 22nd 2005

And did you know that Pingoat comes with the equally popular Splogspot.com which is the world's largest spam blog database?

I am interested in the site but i see there is a spot that is showing "offline". Usually it shows that way when a site is banned by google. Hope this is not the case here.
