closed PinkKittys.com - Related to Porn Site? Please Appraise

Hi Everyone,

I need some Guidance please. I own the domain name PinkKittys.com, and have had it for many years. I recently noticed that I am geting hundreds (currently 400+ and climbing) of unique hits a month ... and it has become one of my better performing paid parking domains.

I then went on to notice, out of curiousity of the new found popularity, that the ".net" version of this domain has been developed into an adult website.

So ... what should I expect. Do I keep this and collect revenue, do I offer it to the ".net" folks ... or do I sell it on the open market? Anyone have the same experience?

Also, being that the ".net" seems to be a very popular site ... what would that value the ".com" version? I just had a baby, so extra cash would definetly be a good thing.

Any and all guidance is greatly appreciated.

PersianKitty.com is a very successful porn site.

I like the name of your domain. I think somewhere in the mid $xxx. Sit on it for a nother 12 months and see how the traffic/revenue develops.

What type of revenue do you have currently?

So it's not strict adult site with rapidly growing traffic if sucessuful.

Domian is registered in Dec 2005 so it's pretty fresh site.

So future depends from traffic grows and that is not so sure for me.

My advice is consider two scenario:
1.Fast sell based on current stats and income from SEDO.
2. Wait for 12 month and watch how traffic/income develops as 'lawpal' said.

ad1. If you need money it's better to monetarize futre earnings now
ad2. If you wish to wait leave domain and cut checks each (few)month.

In fact it's depends from Your personal criteria, beacuse if you want build your portofolio for PPC just leave. If you want fast cash - sell.

Hi Everyone,

Thank you for the great advice and feedback. I appreciate it very much.

The domain is now up to ~900 Unique Hits a month since my first post. It seems to be growing, which is very good thing.

Any more thoughts and/or advice is greatly appreciated. Especially on Value ... How much is it worth in a "quick sale" scenario versus a 12-month plus waiting period ... especially due to growing traffic.
