Following the millionDollarHomepage hype, i registered both PixelAdvert.com and PixelAdverts.com. I registered them not to make a copy-cat site but for an idea I had after seeing the Milliondollarhomepage concept. Unfortunately i have no funds and programming skills to follow up on it so they are just sitting there doing nothing :(

Both domains have had a few interested parties for upto high $ xxx. The domains have no significant number of visitors. What's your opinion on these names?

If you've been offered high $xxx then thats what its worth.

sell it asap. IMO the whole million pixel it won't last more than 5 month.

Agreed. Get out now with any decent offer before the fad fades or, if you have the time/energy, develop a network for showing blocks of PixelAds on OTHER people's pages like Adsense or Adbrite and make your own Million Dollars ;-)

"PixelAdverts", not PixelAds :cheeky: Anyway, that was the idea I had when i registered the domain. Funny you come up with it here as well :)

Yes. I think that is the big next step for Pixel advertising, if it makes that next step. But it is a VERY BIG effort to put together an advertising network like that.

I still havent decided on wether or not to take the high $xxx (i'm the indecisive type) :( Right now it really feels bad that i dont have the programming skills to build this idea out.

Sell some other domains to build up some cashflow, then hire somebody to build PixelAdverts.com. :-)

HI

Pixel ads are a fad and the interest will soon be over if you can sell for $xxx then I would do so other wise develop the domain and then sell it on ebay developed you may get more,

Thanks
Tom Dahne

One thing that the milliondollarhomepage did was to make the word pixel
a much more widely known and used word than it was 5 months ago. That won't go way and may increase.
