From DNJournal:

"Pizza.com has finally changed hands, three months after it was auctioned off by Sedo's GreatDomains.com with a winning bid of $2.6 million. However, the new owner,
Philadelphia's National A-1 (according to the updated WhoIs record), is not believed to have paid that high a price, apparently having stepped in and picked up the domain after the original winning bidder bowed out. It looks like the new purchase price was subject to a non disclosure agreement and will not be released."

Interesting - probably higher than the final bid :o

probably lower actually...they own some GREAT domains along with that one now

I guess a lower sale price would make more sense for the non disclosure agreement - but I think the .net auction made the seller a little more invested into his name.

Any thoughts on what it might have sold for?

As stated in the article the originator of this thread linked to - $1.6 million.

Quite a drop. Wonder why the winner bowed out.

HI

1.6 mil is still a lot of money... lucky seller... Congrats.
