I recently purchased this domain and am in the process of building an italian charms website/ecommerce store.

i have received offers from others to purchase domain from me, but I would like to get a rough estimate of the value before completing the site or selling.

Difficult to say.
Seeing it has no type-in potential (budget charms = no searches), neither developed business, I would take anything for it.
For developing purposes, there are many nice "charm" names still available.

well, i received one offer for 5K and for 7.5K and I am having a logo done for web/letterhead. Do developed site sell better than just domain name. I just have the name only and decided what to do with it.

Right now in the US, there is this CHARM craze going on. Women buy a blank bracelet and then fill it up with these small charms. There's hundreds to choose from and they sell for up to $12.00 a piece (just for the small charms) Each bracelet holds maybe 10-15 charms apeice. You've got a great name....but like opportunitymagic says......Take the 7.5k and run......fads don't last forever!!!

my original plan was to develop a site and then sell it as a complete business. I have had some offers to do just that and people seem to be interested. but do completed sites generate more/less income than just domain name itself? This is my fist dive in the world of ecommerce. I just picked the name because I thought it was a fun/neat name for a business. And with the offers i have received....who knows?

Well said!

BTW Txnnmt, does the buyer require "official" appraisal?

no they don't . Is it a good idea to have it appraised? What exactly does an appraisal entail?
