Hi there,

Your appraisals (not necessarily current market value, but future) would be greatly appreciated. As many of you know, the Nintendo Revolution (looks set to be a final name) is right around the corner. The odds are pretty high that its flagship title will be 'Super Mario Revolution'. It certainly has a nice ring to it.

What, if indeed it is called that, would these domain names be worth? Mario64.com (check OVT) is still going strongly, and that was released back in 1996! 'Mario Revolution' would be of that magnitude - probably bigger. These games are not just flash in the pans - interest remains for yearrrrrrrrrs. Comments would be much appreciated. Remember, I'm after their HYPOTHETICAL value as opposed to what they're worth right now.

Many thanks!!!

Zero. Unless you've purchased licensing rights. This isn't your trademark to profit from. What are you thinking?

$0 as the names are long and don't actually make sense. The TM issue really makes them a $0 as well.

There's no trade mark issues whatsoever. Mario is a first name and revolution is a dictionary word.

If he wishes to avoid the TM issue by having the site make no mention of Nintendo, Mario, or the Revolution system then sure..it's not a TM issue. But then again it's worthless as a domain in that regard.

I don't care about the TM issue, so I wish the stiffs on this site would keep their opinions to themselves. And in regards to Mr Smart Arse 'Labrocca', we'll see if it "means nothing" and then you'll know who has the last laugh.

EarlBarrett, if you don't like one's opinion, you can stop listening,,don't personal attack...
IMO it has no resell value unless it is well developed
