I cant see the name alone being worth much, perhaps if developed it would have some value. The name itself isnt all that hot in my eyes and a better Golf related Domain is probubly out there somewhere and can be had for $9 reg fee.

Golf Competitions are big money events, and this is pretty generic...I can't quite see how i would develop it, but even a site with links to all the major golf tournaments would get traffic, and wouldn't golf comp get type ins??

..I dunno...I'm just new at this..

As you mentioned in your post, the proper term is "golf tournaments".
