Really need to come up with the fairest price/value for the domain "AtlanticYachting.com".

A company called "The Atlantic Yachting Association" wants to buy it. They are currently using the domain "AtlanticYachting.org" .

Does anyone have any opinions as to what the real value of the .com extension should be.

Thanks for your help.

A fair price, considering it isn't a widely searched for term, would be around the $1500 mark or even less, IMO. Others may tell you to ask for more, since their company name is so close. But being greedy looks bad for the industry - and I doubt you will have any other buyers anytime soon.

Having an interested party that uses the underdog extension, I'd ask for USD 2,000 after escrow fees.

Thanks fellow domainers. Just received $1,500 for the sale of AtlanticYachting.com. Your feedback was greatly appreciated.

Congratulations on the sale. It's nice to see a company acting reasonable as opposed to jumping right into C&Ds and filing WIPO claims.

Thanks for the feedback. I could have sold this domain to the same company at the same price, a year ago. Which would have been the best action to take.

Now I know better. Actually I was feeling ripped off at the $1,500 price. So the community here was very helpful in getting me to accept that price and feel good about the deal.

Some of the robotic appraisal tools put a much higher value on that domain. So thanks again fellow domainers for bringing me back to reality.
