I own the name Maderaclassifieds.com Madera is a city in Central California near Fresno.
Would it be wise for me to have this site developed into a classified ad's web site for this city? If yes how much am I looking to spend for a decent site? Thanks for reading this,if you can help,please do. Thank You.

Personally I would stay away from such focused areas when creating a classifieds site. But if you had the money to heavily promote it locally, it could be good. But getting a classifieds site developed would cost too much at all. The money would all be in advertising locally. Newspaper ads, maybe even commercials, etc.

Have you though about buying a template site.

These can be very cheap from $12.00.

You could try things out before deciding if its worth spending more.
