Please help recommend Digital Camera for website pics

Hi there i am in the market for a new digital camera. It will be used to publish digital pictues on websites and possibly in brocheurs.

I have a budget of about $750 usd for the camera.

any good recommendations? would like to stick to well known brand names.

Not a camera buff by any means ...
but , recently got Canon EOS "Rebel XTi" / "400D" ( depending on your country .. different names ) , and find it excellent .. great pics and quite easy to use for an amature like myself ( yet has all the bells and whistles for someone more professional )
and within your budget I believe.
