I guess I want the more popular TLD???

The site will be an informational site with referral links. It wil only generate money through referral links.

Not sure what kind of help you are looking for? Are you wanting to buy the com/net/org version of a particular domain, or trying to determine if you can have a good site with the remaining extensions?

Simply find another .com. Or if you really need to choose one, go for .biz DEFINITELY. And if you have some spare money left, do something else (like donating to a charity).

If it will be written somewhere, the biz is more recognizable to people.
Can I dream up a new one for you? Just email me.
If people will hear the name spoken (e.g. radio) the ws might go with some names...hmm...

If this is a brandname situation, you want memorability. Yes, people generally type in .com, of course, but making the extension relevant makes it more memroable.
And easier to tell others about.
