plz advice on available name ..register it or not ?

i found a developed website not registering the non hyphenated version of its name

the site in the top 100,000 alexa ranking

however has 0 OVT

there is no TM issues

do you think the non hyphenated version will get any traffic

the domain looks crappy to get typeins

it is something like the-best-domains-you-have.com

do you think thebestdomainsyouhave.com will get any?

although the-best-domains-you-have.com alexa ranking ?

or may be he has domains.com and is forwarding it to the-best-domains-you-have.com ?

any advice is greatly appreciated

if the site gets paid traffic ...does this push it to the top 100,000?

if so it is most often will not get any traffic

Paid traffic will push up the Alexa , any traffic will. I would think they are just using a domain like that for the keywords for search engines and soforth, I think I would judge the decision on how long this site has been around using archive.org and whois , I would take a chance if its been around longer than a year with this kind of alexa , my reasoning is that if its not a flash in the pan then branding will start to take effect and I think it will get some typeins. good luck!

thanks alot searchsix ...exactly what i wanted to know

the site has been since 1998 and has around 180 backlinks but when i check it ....it doesn't look like a good site at all ...not even look that busy

not sure ...anyway i will give it a try and will update you
