in terms of development its obviously very limited and I cant see it being used beyond the poker realm, if you had someone interested before you made the first post here I would say you can ask for $500-1K ..if you got the offer after the first post its obviously a reseller that likes the name and I think he wouldnt pay a lot over $100-$150

No, I posted after the offer. Thanks, mate.

I agree it cant be used "beyond the poker realm", however with all other extensions registered to me as well, and offered as part of the package, I think someone has a project in mind.

Also, considering the fact that most decent poker_____.coms are all taken in the mist of the poker boom, I would still count this one as a low X,XXX player.

Any more suggestions.

I see. Well, thanks for your opinion TN.

Actually, as you seem more experienced, I would take your advice and wouldnt ask for more than its worth.

Probably, XXX to an enduser.

$XXX sounds all right .....as for what you can do with it...

Creat a website of people who have become millionaires by playing poker.
Create individual player profiles on what tournamnet and how much did they make.
Ex: USE WSOP stats since the time they started. Link to all professional poker players websites and get info on them.
You can easily make 50 pages out of it.

First of all, Thanks bdss for your suggestionS.

With that in mind (previous poker millionaires, professionals, ets), I was also thinking about including a 'Road To PokerMillion' theme, where online pro players or amatuers could come and discuss their winnings, lossing hands, bad beats, busts, etc, etc.

I have like over a million pro books and could use them for tips and tricks, etc.
And I have learnt that online and real poker are the two extremes. Could have the site divided/concentrated to stress that and exploit the differences/similarities between real and online poker players styles, etc.

I will be back.

lol, always ask for more than its worth, because theres always a chance you'll get it. Just remember never to go too high because theres also a chance you'll scare away the *right buyer* who would have bought at the price you really would have let it go at.

Very nicely said TN.

Basically, my site will be about a normal guys (rounder) "road to big money".
This is where people will learn how pros managed it and how they could learn and improve their game. Being a poker player myself, I have learnt that poker is all about making money. And if you play for 10 hrs a day and dont come at the top of the game, then you dont belong here.
I myself wasnt able to find a very good site specifically designed to motivate and kinda teach players real poker.
Practise makes perfect. So, I will be glad to induce a flash player or anything similar, where a player could play and learn if his decision was right/profitable, wrong, etc. I know this has been done before. But, thats why I am looking for ideas here.
Something similar.

But I am not sure about that, as the different opinions in this thread show.
Its not just about selling this domian, but also developing it if theres a chance that it could work.

I would see this as a great name for an actual poker site. full tilt poker, poker stars, party poker, poker millionaires seems to fit.

WOW, Nice to know that Domain Epidemic.
I was also considering developing it.

However, its clearly not in their league.

I dont want to disappoint, just I dont want to overvalue it either.

I want to be realistic. I think, once developed into a good site, one could expect quite a decent revenue.

you have to really develope it, and make it known abit, before it'll realise some value.
