I'm testing the water with pokerplayer.net

Generic poker domain names with traffic are very popular at the moment as online poker grows and grows.

This name is registered with Enom and parked at Fabulous. It has an Overture with extension score of 245.

I've been parking the name since 24 May 2005 and although each day traffic uniques are only between 30 and 40 uniques a day the daily revenue can be as high as $100+

Between 24 May 2005 and 5 June 2005 (13 days) the revenue has totalled $769.77. Monthly revenue equivalent based on this would be around $1776.

Here are links to the stats:

Traffic and Revenue Stats

More Info

Most of the traffic appears to be type-ins or people actually searching for "pokerplayer.net" on Google or other search engines.

I'm sure there is more potential to earn on the revenue by linking to a decent poker affiliate scheme that would pay out a percentage of lifetime player losses.

I'm setting a BIN of $150,000 for this name. Transaction to be done on Escrow.com with the buyer paying the fees. If you are in the UK or Europe VAT would be added.

Unfortunately I haven't owned the domain name that long so don't have any more stats than are shown in the link in the first post apart from after the last day.

I didn't accept the $100k offer, but have received a couple of other offers slightly higher than this.

Am looking for a BIN of $150k

This name has high quality type-in traffic and is currently earning around $100 a day.

Quality generic poker domains with type-in traffic are hard to come by and i'd rather have the $100 a day revenue than $100k

Geez, can't believe a .net gets this much traffic.. then again PartyPoker advertises on tv using PartyPoker.NET rather than their .COM for some reason. Maybe that's partly why it's getting the traffic right now. Good luck, I'd sell.
