I am thinking about signing up to own a poker room at www.gamecities.com and I purchased PokerVia.com which I think is catchy and unique. What are your opinions of the name?

I look at it like Poker through .com

not too certain about the domain but i can advise you not to use gamecities.

I just downloaded the poker software and there was ZERO players - you can't get signups at an empty poker room.

I'd also suggest checking out any company you're going to affiliate with - whether it's gambling or not.

Do some searches on the forums at www.winneronline.com - www.casinomeister.com & www.casinoaffiliateprograms.com

There's a lot of very good casino/poker companies around but we still haven't got rid of all the undesiarables.

I think this name could work through heavy branding but it does not really stand on it's own IMO...
