Thats a super reg aggieuk

Perfect for Mobiles ;)

now why didn't I think of that myself :disappointed:

the 's' on the end gives it even more value IMHO.

My rough estimate would be high $xxx - low/mid $xxxx. :undecided:

well done indeed !

$0

first it's polyphonic (singular) not plural - the only polyphonics I know is polyphonics spree (google it)
second -- even if I swallow the BS about the .mobi button have you ever heard of many carriers who allow you from their own portal to buy ringtones from competitor?

good luck and in future use more sense.. or rather donate your reg fee to a charity

I know most people dont like low appraisals, especially if other .mobi owners are hoping for big payoffs too and wouldnt give you the 30% reseller they estimate the domains at, I think its hard to get more than low $xx for this domain

In fact it's big business in the UK my friend! As long as you have a compatible mobile (Nokia is the best manufacturer for ringtones and games) you can either browse their website via mobile/pc connections and they will text you the ringtone, and also you can simply text a number and some basic text with your requirements and you will receive the ringtone via sms.

I didn't realise that the US were that behind on mobile technology. It's been here for years! It even spawned the Crazy Frog craze which enabled the maker of the Crazy Frog to earn millions through releasing several annoying songs into the UK music charts! I hope we have no repeat this xmas!!!!

FYI...I worked for Nokia & Nortel in UK (in Marketing for their Wireless products) I also studied and lived there between 1995 - 2005 so I'm not so naive as you think... I just moved to US just over a year ago... so back to appraisal if it was polyphonicXXXX on .com/.net I'd say amazing - since it's .mobi which is the largest hyped TLD ever I have to stick to my $0 appraisal

Exactly! I actually cannot believe this was available. When did you reg this?
Simple google search shows people what they are. In fact many people only want these type of ringtones as they are the best.
You know it's fascinating that different countries are so far behind each other.
You'd assume wrongly the US is cutting edge on phones. Seems Japan & the far east are years ahead & different cultural uses. I know South Africa has done banking on phones for some time.
Anyway, i'll be honest seen a lotof bad ones regged recently. I like this agmeister & it's a developer or a flipper.
Wide range but $xxx high - $xxxx low-mid
Either way, good catch.;)
Cheers, Pred

Developed and marketed it could be quite nice.

polyphonic has 3k OVT which is polyphonic and polyphonics combined but mostly likely those are searches for polyphonic and not polyphonics.

"Polyphonic" is an adjective, "polyphonics" is ...nothing. I think you would have to establish polyphonic as a noun before anyone will go looking for the plural of it.

$xx to low $xxx.

Perhaps someone with more experience reg'ing the plural of adjectives could tell us?

Theres a trend developing here on this thread, the US citizens don't like it, yet other nations mainly europe do. I am really surprised the US are so far behind us Europeans etc on mobile technology! Not dissing the US of course, but i've always been led to believe that the US where quite advanced! Such as their war fighting equipment (Which is far better than the Royal Navies!!!)

I was in London during the Crazy Frog campaign and you just couldn't get away from it! It's amazing that Brits will pay 2 pounds for 10 seconds of a song. Not dissing the Brits or anything, but I aways been lead to believe the Brits were quite cheap. (so says my British friend!)

Seriously though, we have polyphonic ring tones on our phones here and great ones available, but they just must not sell. In los angeles we had a brief period where ringtones were advertised on TV. For some reason they stopped.

I personally would never pay for a ring tone when I can just get a sample of the song and upload it directly to my phone myself.

They mostly advertise the ringtones on music TV but do occasionally have the ads on primetime tv. Crazy frog isn't making an appearance this year thank f**k! lol

by the way the tight fisted brits are the Northerners, us southerners don't mind paying out! lol
