Hi there. :-)

I got the idea to create this thread from this thread.

I am wondering how GoDaddy's backordering service compares to Pool's? I have heard great things about Pool's backordering service, but on each site I see diverse features and diverse pricing for backordering services.

I, myself, have had only the worst success with Pool's service. I am interested in switching over to GoDaddy's, but I'm wondering...will it be worth it?

I am looking for reviews on one or the other, or even a comparison of both. :-)

If you have NOT tried either, please don't bother replying. I am trying to create this to be a resourceful and informational thread.

Thanks for your time. :-)

I use pool to back order a few, but the good ones end up costing a lot more then I want to pay, and even the crappy ones that you pay 60 for are a little over priced. I have however got one name there that was a 1000 hits a month hit! And I had just thought it was "cute" when I back ordered it. Anyway I'd give GD a chance to see what happens.

godaddy's system is poo! avoid it

Please explain:
- Your experiences with GoDaddy
- What domain you tried to backorder
- Your impressions and expressions

Include:
- A review :-P

Thanks, and thanks for the replies so far. :-)

From what I have read here either use Enom or I believe the second was Snapnames. Personally, I haven't tried either service.

I cannot find what you're talking about with eNom, and with SnapNames, are you meaning Netfirm's backordering service ?

I do not believe it was on here. I tried looking and can not locate the thread. I am going to actually give Godaddy's backordering system a shot here in the upcomming days once I find a good name to backorder that is expiring soon. If I find one I will let everyone know what happens.

haven't get any good name via godaddy.

godaddy back ordering is like 2 or 3 out of @ 50 for me, not very good

Same here, any any name that is a little good never gets captured with godaddy.

even the crappy ones lol ;-)
I remember i backordered url69.com with GD, as you can see that's not a big deal and it didn't catch it! Then I finally backordered a crappy name to "waste" my backorder credit at godaddy :-D

When i want a name i don't bother, i backorder it at pool/enom/snapnames and then wait to see who will catch it :-)
Godaddy and namewinner are bullshit i even don't waste my time backordering with them cause i know they won't get my name :-D

I backordered few 4 number.com at Godaddy, but none of them caught!!!!

I don't think human can beat god.

I used to get most of my 4-number .coms at Godaddy until the competition hotted up.

Now you have a few credits to put towards backorders. Too bad you can't use the credit to purchase domains.
