Pool down in the middle of the .mobi auctions !!

My first Post, unfortunately a bad one.

I missed out on apartment.mobi because of this pool server issue.

Here are some recent sales:

apartment.mobi $1,704.00
freeringtones.mobi $9,100.00
openhouse.mobi $675.00

I wanted freeringtones.mobi, but for that price I will stick with my ringring.mobi and realringtones.mobi for 60 bucks. Cheers

Is their auction system still down?

Can't believe it - they've been really successful at snapping up the best of the best - a lot of the NNN.mobi domains went to Pool in the landrush.

This may be the problem of success, but it's sure annoying - has anyone else been able to see the results of today's .mobi auctions in their Successful Backorders list so far?

What I get is "The page you are looking for is currently unavailable. The Web site might be experiencing technical difficulties..." Not good.

You need to have pre-registered the Mobi domains at Pool in order to view the auctions.

Let's think here though.. who in the world is going to spend all the time looking through detailed apartment listings on their mobile phone? That detailed work is what a computer is for.

My focus on .mobi is extremely limited to a very very select few names that actually relate to the mobile phone industry, things that you would actually need or that people already look for on their phone (usually to kill time, or for things for their phone). This means News, Weather, Travel (flights, cars, hotels), Games, Jokes, and Phone stuff should be the ONLY names that ever have any value, and that's only if the large wireless conglomerates shove the extension down other peoples throats. OpenHouse.mobi and Apartments.mobi are pretty much worthless in my opinion. FreeRingtones while a risky investment may be the only one of that bunch that ever works out.
