For Sale Pool question

At what stage can a new bidder join in the pool bidding process? Do they have to have it backordered to proceed, or can you jump into the blind bidding or challenger auction stages? Basically, can I reveal details of a domain in a challenger auction safe in the knowledge that no-one who didn't backorder it could snatch it?

You have to backorder the domain before it drops in order to get in the auction.
After the domain drops noone can enter the auction.
