Hi gang
I have a highly popular amy lee (of evanescence fame) fansite - and I'm curious as to what I could possibly get for it.
There's an active forum (744 users) a gallery and a news blog.
I've slacked off for the past lil while - only changing the layout. However I'll be getting it updated again - the news blog that is - shortly.
The forum continues to be active without the news postings anyways.

Traffic - Consistantly getting around 2000 unique visitors a day
GoogleAds - Consistantly getting between 1 and 2 dollars a day.

So - anyone know the ball park figure I should be looking for?
Thanks!

You should be looking to get more from the google ads then that with that type of traffic, my www.davidbeckham.ws gets around 400-500 uniques a day and averages 2-3 dollars a day on Google.

Anyway, with those stats I would suspect it's worth a bit regardless of if it isn't making much, if it's a good domain then be worth more but with those stats, a active forum and active site behind it the domain isn't too relevant anyway unles it's a good one.

If you want to increase the AdSense revenue you should probably integrate a leader board ad between the header and the body. I would also recommend placing some AdLinks towards the top of the navigation bar. I think that doing both of these things would help out tremendously.

If I would have to put a value on the site I would say between mid $XXX and low $X,XXX based on the information you provided.

Good luck with whatever you decide to do with it!

It's worth more then that, I dont like to put figures on things but with those type of uniques and a active forum I would be looking for more then that. If it was mine I'd personally not let it go cheaper then 2k.

I sold sites for mid XXX before which is no-where near as good as his, it's worth quite bit more then that IMO.

Mid $XXX's was my low end evaluation. As you can see it goes into the low $X,XXX's. You also have to consider how much longer this person is going to be as famous as she is. In my opinion she doesn't have much time left but I very well may be wrong.

I was trying to be unintrusive as possible while still having them when i set them up originally.
are adlinks through google? or some other ppc engine?

I also tend to run skyscrapers on the right (of forum sites we manage) and a leaderboard at the bottom (centered)... but we don't get good CTR with that setup.

Yes, Adlinks are a new ad format within the Google Adsense program.
