It's very interesting to see the new www.porno.com site, which is using prepopulated XML results for Viagra, Poker, and Mortgage results, apparently from SearchFeed.com.

I've taken a screenshot at:

http://www.loffs.com/images/porno20050221.gif

in case the site should suddenly change. Personally, I can't see how advertisers would want this, since they seek traffic that is *relevant* to the domain name, to ensure traffic quality.

But, I'm prepared to learn from the "King". I'd like to know whether SearchFeed or Overture or any PPC provider would allow me to put up XML results for "poker" on www.math.com, which gets maybe twice the traffic of Porno.com? Or, Mesothelioma results, or Structured Settlements....or where does it stop?

Go for Mesothelioma. I mean, if it ain't FRAUD.

www.porno.com has updated -- no more Viagra, Mortgage or Poker XML search results. A lady at Quicken Home Loans was unimpressed that their company was sandwiched between "gang bang" and "gay studs".

I read looking at porn causes mesothelioma or was that blindness.

I heard watching porn can cause brain damage as well.

I came across that yesterday or the day before as well George.. i was surprised to find those kind of results.

Hmm.. i guess dating and porn somewhat go together.

A lot better than some of the other results you mentioned earlier :)

Well, according to:

http://personals.yahoo.com/us/static/affiliate_faq#co04

"What is Yahoo! Personals policy on adult content?
The Yahoo! Personals Performance Partner Program prohibits sites with adult content and reserves the right to audit and review member sites for compliance to our policies. If your site(s) are deemed objectionable, we reserve the right to reject an application or revoke a site's membership at any time. Please see our Affiliate Agreement for further information on our adult content policy."

So, we shall watch and see. If they see Porno.com as a valuable source of targeted traffic, perhaps they will keep up the links. Should be educational. Free tuition.

Hmm companies will always make exceptions to their rules for "players" It happens in every industry. The PPC market is no different i guess.

Then again, nobody is a player as far as yahoo is concerned i guess so they would prob just can the account and not think twice about it.

What comes around goes around GeorgeK. You've crossed a line. Many domainers come here with the expectation they will not get turned in by a fellow domainer for some infraction on their site.

What you've done here is committed something far worse then what you are suggesting happened with the Porno.com site.

I suggest you go take your Math.com and go find a new home. I personally will not stand here while another domainer gets raked through the coals.

I think you're sadly mistaken, Izopod.

Advertisers ultimately pay for everyone who is earning money from PPC traffic. Folks who are sending irrelevant traffic to those advertisers cause lower bids. Those lower bids hurt legitimate publishers, because they'll be earning less for their real targeted traffic.

I'd really like to see what "line" you think I crossed. Are you suggesting that if someone does something inappropriate, that it should not go reported? Unbelievable.

GeorgeK once again talks out of HIS ASS.

He is CLUELESS as USUAL.

So to set the RECORD STRAIGHT.....

I have leased out porno.com to Kevin Leto for a LARGE amount of money. Ya know, the same Kevin Leto that bought men.com for $1.3 million that he ran around yelling was bogus.

George, your credibility is going down hill EVERYTIME you open your mouth. You are NOTHING but a JEALOUS FOOL!!

Get over it and get some PROFESSIONAL help. You and HAL, deserve each other. Oh I forgot, HAL was banned from DNForum. I hope you are NEXT! You are nothing but the "Mrs Kravitz" of the domain world. GET A LIFE!

Thanks for restoring this thread, and allowing me to reply.

Let's see, Fab told Domain King he couldn't frame the Poker PPC results, and *I'm* the one "talking out of my ass"? The facts are clear. And Porno.com is once again back at Fab, pointing to porn PPC results, like before this "experiment" started.

Does Rick take any personal responsibility? Methinks not, he tries to boast about the "LARGE amount of money", but when push comes to shove, Fab's poker and mortgage sponsors don't want their names associated with porno.com. It's a reckless act, in my opinion, to start diverting porno results to non-porn PPC results. Is that the "ethical" behaviour that you try to set the example with?

Oh, and for the record, a lady at Quicken Home Loans was unimpressed that their company was sandwiched between "gang bang" and "gay studs". Imagine that. Maybe she had her "head up her ass" too, and didn't see the "grand vision" of Domain King.

"Setting records straight" may not agree with you; spinning records may be more suitable.

Interesting how the Men.com sale was allegedly: sold by a Boca person to another Boca entity, sold involving at least some payments, sold including another domain DirtyJokes.com --but yet was ballyhooed as an all cash deal that neglected to mention most of those other details, details which mostly came out in the forums.

Was the MEN.COM "sale" really an arm's length transaction? Who exactly ARE the members of MEN.COM, LLC? Are you, Rick, a member of MEN.COM, LLC? Come on Rick, THAT is the question to answer, if you dare.

Was the MEN.COM really a massive publicity stunt that worked --or a SEC grade tombstone transaction? You, Gentle Reader, should decide.

I "deserve" George K.? Thanks!!! I'll take George K. ANY day! George is one of the straightest shooters I have met in this business (or any other). I have never seen George K. mislead anybody, berate people as morons, file phony UDRPs against "friends," boot people out of forums or trade shows based on ridiculous grudges, or do anything --yes, I said ANYTHING --underhanded.

Now, you on the other hand, well.. perhaps we could just say that you are a legend in this business.

Here's one article which somewhat glosses on your personality:

Rick Schwartz: Domain King or Royal Pain?
http://www.dnjournal.com/columns/cover020204.htm

However, to me, I don't see much of a question.

Do I trust you or believe one word you say? Are you kidding?!!

Banned? LOL. Yes, this is my ghost writing. He doesn't care for you either.

So did anyone see how the Rams played on Sunday? Wow was that embarassing. They got their butts handed to them on a plate by the Giants.

LOL, now that's deadpan

nice reply George and Hal don't take that from anybody unless theygotthegutsto come say it to your face.
