If I got a UDRP notice would the administrators of this forum delete any and all threads concerning one of my names if they (complaintants) didn't know in advance that information about the domain was posted on this forum?

Are these threads saved forever....no exceptions

Is there a way to pick a time limit for how long a thread stays active for viewing?

This is a public forum. Lots of members use it for research, so if the subject matter is sensitive, refer to it in general, and once you have some feedback in the thread, use the PM feature to discuss the sensitive information with a trusted member.

Postings to this forum have been used in UDRP proceedings as evidence of bad faith. The suggestion to post generally is a good one, unless you want the public to know about your case and welcome public comment.

Precisely! Please see my posts in the Legal thread, "Godaddy.com threatening me" ... in MY opinion, a potential complainant will use EVERY BIT of perceived "bad faith" evidence they can find to bolster their possible case.
