Hello, www.POSTINGHOSTING.com is FOR SALE This is what my client has compiled for me to post.

This site is offering free hosting to people who actively use the forum.

The idea is.

-You must sign up at our forum located [Here]
-You must then post, the number of posts required to purchase a certain package can be found on the packages page [Here]
-Once you have made enough quality posts you can purchase your hosting, Go to the forum shop, from here you can buy a redemtion code relating to the hosting package you want to purchase, once purchased you will lose all the posts you have made to purchase that package and in return you will have a redemption code.
-You then go to the Input redemption code page [Here] and input the code you were given the code is now removed from the database so it cannot be used again
-Once all this is complete you will have 1 months hosting of the package you chose.
-At the end of the month you will have to do the same again or your account will be terminated (after 3 days of debt)and all information will be removed from the servers. Don't worry, we will send you a reminder email.

So as it says make some posts, buy your package from the forum shop, you will be emailed a code put that code into the box (this is a unique code only this code will work for that person untill they buy ther next) The system will recognise the package they purchased and an email will be automatically dispatched with the information requred and an admin will set up the hosting, i used this as i felt it would be more secure than auto set up.

the site has no history really what you see is what it has always been.


I havent really the time to advertise this site so, here it is, its going pretty cheap as it hasnt got of member ( 5 at last count i think and it doesnt get all that much traffic.

Errm profit wise none yet really, you could easily add adsense and i have a banner mod installed into the forum which rotates banners.

what script does this run off of? I assume this comes with it as well? please clarify...

also...the site/script/forums would need to be moved to a different server i take it?

All the coding other than the forum is totally custom.
The forum itself is SMF.
Yes everything will be moved to your server, i will provide a cpanel back up or give you access to the hosting it is on now.

one more question...does it have a way to automate the processes?

do you have a link to an admin area or anything like that?? screenshots would work as well to ....

I decided not to make this automated due to security reasons.
You could easily automate it, what i would recomend is using an extract of code from tinytool which will do the job.

There is no admin area, The code itself doesnt need adminning, The user puts in there user id and coupon code and the deatails are emailed to the admin.

I don't see the point if its not automated you might as well just get a phpBB forum, and install a shop hack and sell free hosting away in the shops.

We have done that with an SMF forum but highly modified this sytem to streamline and simplify everything.
