I recently picked up REG.BZ.

I know that .bz is not the hottest ccltd out there, but the name kinda stands on its own and I think it would be a great name for a future registrar.

.Bz is yet untapped with incredible four character names still available. But obviously a registrar is not limited to selling domains of only their cctld.

I was curious of your thoughts?

Thanks a million DNF$! :)

Not bad, not bad..... but who wants to reg .bz names?

I put .BZ on the same level as .CC, to be honest! Sorry.
Good Luck.

$0.... stay away from bz..lol.

This is why I don't watch Jay Leno... plenty of entertainment on DNF.

Not to switch focus of my thread, but I think you guys might be missing a niche, but yet untapped buying / selling market in the cctlds.

I agree that they will NEVER have the popularity of CNO, but they will have their place. Examples: sex and host would be good in ANY country code. No they won't fetch the prices of a CN (O just sucks for this stuff), but they will sell and for some nice profits.

Additionally, suppose a country is know for its beautiful beaches and tourism, then perhaps Vacation, Holiday, Beach, Spa, and Resort might have some nice potential. Anyway, I hope you see where I'm going with this.

I may be just blowing smoke here, but I ask you to think about it before responding.

:)

Name Maker - Country code domains are the future. 3-5 years from now, from what I hear, folks will make most searches based first on the country ext - then the keyword - One of the guys in our office left Google a year ago and he owns MANY foreign ext. keyword domains. I think he knows something about the search engines and can see where the future is on country codes. We own over 3000 keyword domains in various country exts. Only sold a few and most are redirected to some of our various sites. REG.BZ -GOOD JOB !!! - Steve
