PR3 Free Link to who ever give the best advice

DNF'RS,

I am sorting through my domains today wanting to get rid of uglies and might have found a diamond in the rough, but still an ugly diamond at that.

http://yotd.net/

It has a Google PR3, and I have no clue how. I hand registered the domain name Feb 08. I have invested absolutely 0% effort into it and have all about forgot about http://yotd.net/ until today.

It only has 4 backlinks as reported by estibot, I only get a steady 1 - 4 unique a day with a less then par CTR.

How or why did it get a PR3, maybe if I ignore my other domains they will become PR3 also.....lol!!


Enough of the small talk, I think I should now exploit the PR3 of this site since it is the only PR3 site I own and use it to link back to my other domains. I am going to set up new hosting to be on a separate IP range.


Any ideas on what I can do with a domain name as ugly as http://yotd.net/ ? That would still be viable to link back to all my domains?

Or

Should I just choose a niche and stick with it and only link back to the websites that apply. What niche would work best with ugly http://yotd.net/ ?

Anyone who give me a good idea and I use it I will put a couple links to your site on the home page of said site http://yotd.net/ , in a years time i will have it up to a PR5 or better.


Or

Should I just make this a lame directory site? Which search engines may turn against in the near future?


I can promise you I am not making any PPC income from this domain to write mom about. I have to do something to it.


UPDATE

After googling I now know that all the sites that show up in a "yotd" search are "Spyro: Year of the Dragon" (video Game) and "Year of the Dog"

I also know that http://yotd.com was created some time ago beore 05 and has a PR0 and I hand regd mine feb 08.

Does this spur any ideas?

lol, that's most likely where I get the traffic from. Thanks fro the Idea. I just don't see it being lucrative PPC for a band that is most likely broken up.

I'm going to use it for linking, I know that.

I appreciate all the response Like I said the one thing I know I will do is using it for back linking. For now I will leave it parked at Parked.com and use the Parked WYSIWYG to manually create back links. You guys should check out what I have done, open to more suggestions guys
