championsharonfurr.com
Page Rank 6
Daily Hits 34
Google BackLinks 387
MSN BackLinks 50
Yahoo BackLinks 175
Google Indexed Pages 83
MSN Indexed Pages 15
Yahoo Indexed Pages 1
Domain Penalty $-1000.00
Purchase Price $390.00

This domain might be an authentic PR6 but the fact that there are more Google backlinks than MSN or Yahoo is very unusual. The Daily hits are also very low for a PR6 site.

Any ideas what is going on here?

Thanks!

Yes. It was part of someones link network or a group of link networks. Just a quick check shows most of the backlinks are gone.

It will not keep a PR6 long, but it should keep some PR for quite a while (unless all backlinks are removed) - especially if someone slides it into their own network.

Ok, that makes sense... because Google takes much longer than MSN to update the link: keyword search it is still showing that many links...

Any guess what the PR would fall to, and do you think the price is fair?

Thank you for the reply!

I don't know how far it will fall. It will likely go *way* down since the site is no longer in use - not only are the back links gone, but the internal links are also gone.

If someone pays your asking amount, then it was fair. Nobody is forcing anyone to make the purchase. Right?
