go here and see the small # of backlinks..:
http://www.scottandrews.co.uk/linkpop/

and search for clicknames.ca

I get the result for www.clicknames.ca as PR8 (and some indexed links on several SE).

Still looks weird though.. considering the small amount of links it has..

(did someone know google was updating PR, and placed a link on a PR10 site?)

maybe someone in google knew about the PR update.. and got their site sited in a PR10 just b4 the update.
(then try and sell the domain once the PR skyrockets up)

actually im not sure why it was PR8 in the first place. All I did was buy the name and shelf it =)

Sorry I did not catch that before, I had a few people verify it was PR8 before I posted. Not sure whats up with it, but it is PR8 according to many sources.

Actually i wonder if it is an error with google, this domain has never had any *DIRTY* tricks done with it. Also it seems that the camino site my domain name is associated with hrough google only has a PR7 mine is a PR8. How does that work?

nice try sunshine.

You have it point to another domain using URL forwarding (probably via your registrar) then bump it over to sedo parking (on the 26th), join DNF, then try to pawn it off.

LOL. what do you take us for Rob?

BTW. if your going to commit Domain Fraud.. you really should invest in a private record service.

Your details have just been registered at DNscam.com.

Best of luck selling in the future! ;)

Please understand I was not trying to rip anyone off, I am a longtime trader with a zero blemish reputaion. And quite frankly I have no need to rip people off for money, I just have no time for extra work and no drive to keep up another PR8 website

We don't know that for sure! maybe give him the benefit of the doubt!

lets see.

He owns the domain.. and did so before the google update.

as soon as he realises google has done its PR update, he removes his URL forwarding from CaminoBrowser.org, and points the domain to SedoParking.

Then tries to sell it? (as a new DNF member too)

All too suspect for me.

BTW my name is not "Rob Hall" - That is the privacy officer I invested in.

Nor are those my details other than the nameservers .....

Nice try at whatever it was you were hoping to accomplish by posting that though, rather rude in my opinion. Proper netiquette would point to handling that sort of information via PM... Not in public.

I think Ill stick to buying only on this forum for a while. This has been a good lesson though, again sorry for the confusion. Please handle all further discussion on this matter via PM.

Whoever is running DNSCam.com better have their facts straight in each and every case - otherwise they're ripe for being sued for defamation.

Your investigation into this whois while being a worthwhile attempt, has simply fallen flat on it's face. Are you sure you even looked at it before you pasted it?

Domainsatcost (maybe other .ca registrars as well) offer the privacy.ca service and use a masked email address and a single contact name and address. "Rob" isn't the owner of this domain. It looks like he's taken you, for what however, I'll let you decide.

Either Way. His fault or not.

Its something to watch out for.

Whether he is the scammer.. or he was scammed. the Scam still occured.

(and yes. im aware of the privacy officer info. no idea why i referred to Rob)
