Also note, that apparently, their definition of what is Premium has recently changed... Several of my domains (that I did have written appraisals done with Moniker at big bucks) that were rejected by Premium Domains and repeatedly mentioned here, in this forum, as having no value at all...
Were suddently, just a week ago, revisited and marked as PREMIUM.
I wonder what changed? Did they lower their standards for little ol me? Or did they lower their standards for everyone? Or.... did they realize their mistake and correct it?
In any case, was their system flawed before and is fixed now, or is if flawed now? Or was it alwasy flawed?
Doesn't really matter... the point is that a domain is "worth" what the market will bear. Appraisal or no. I have a domain that has had 7 figure appraisals and $100 offers at Sedo. So what? Does it mean that it's only worth $100 bucks? Or does it mean that someone is trying to lowball steal it from me?
That's the business, Pal. The "trick" to all of this is to find a number that YOU are happy with for the domain and never look back. YOU WILL sell a domain for what you think is a good price and then hear about it selling a year later for 4 times that amount. It happens. So what. Take the money you make and turn it into MORE... that's the point.
We all make good and bad decisions. NONE of us are going to have the same opportunity that people buying domains 15 years ago did. They don't exist any more. Just do your best, be content, be ethical, work hard, LEARN and give it a whack. Who knows, you might get some big sale... but honestly, a steady stream of reasonable sales will make me happy every day of my life.
Best of luck to ya!
