Premium L-L.com Values

Hi,

I've seen values for L-L.coms varying quite a bit over the last few months.
And i was wondering if anyone knew how high some of the prices can go for the good ones, and what would be considered a good offer (Reseller)
e.g. I-T.com, N-Y.com, S-S.com, A-A.com,

L-L.com's with premium letters are $2,5k and up. At least that's what I've noticed lately. Looks like L-L.com's are a good investment.

I think people will be surprised how 'unavailable' they end up becoming. There are as many of them as LL.com, and look at those prices. Nice short domains for companies that want their two letter acronym for a domain.

Thanks for the replies guys. As you say, there aren't many of them around - i realise scarcity doesn't always equate to high value, but they are easy to remember, the SE's don't penalise the "-" and they are highly brandable.
I find it hard to believe that some of the premium ones don't even reach the value of a poor LLL.com.

You will occasionally find a low price for L-L within domainer to domainer sales category at a quick sale price.

The outside world is willing to pay a lot more.

I have sold a few in the past.
For example, I sold www.R-M.com for a VERY nice price a couple years ago.
Notice what they did with it.

It would be foolish to sell a L-L .com cheap. You couldn't begin to replace it.

I speculate that many are in the hands of ends users. Therefore, the quantity
in the hands of domainers has dropped drastically.

Remember, there are over 17,500 - 3 LLL.com's
There are only 676 - L-L .com
And, subtract how many are being used by endusers.
They are rare. Don't sell cheap.

Would you sell a barrel of crude oil for $ 10 when the market value is $ 110?

Maybe, someone will run a report and let us know.

Due to the scarcity of the L-L .com (and N-L , L-N), lowballing will not work.
If you have a reputation of lowballing, another domainer will just ignore
your offer or inquiry.

Even Rockefeller is jumping on the theme. I got an inquiry from him today.

I generally avoid mentioning a domain in a drop auction. But, this time I will
make an exception. It will be interesting to see how much A-7.com goes for
on Namejet this week.

Since, they are rare and many have not been on the market, the lowballers
are using the flawed data on 3character.com .
(garbage in, garbage out)

or do you manually have to type each combo in to go look ??

there are simple scripts that can do this type of thing.
a similar script checked all the L-L-L.com domains (all regged) and 25% approx were developed

when it came to the L-L.coms though, in this instance i preferred a 'hand-job' :-#::smilewinkgrin:

I've been wondering about these names for a while as they are the hardest to judge/appraise imo.

I believe this is the only category where number (N-N) names are actually lower in price than letter (L-L) names, although I do believe both are undervalued.

Wasn't there an L-L on here a few months ago that traded just over 1k? I think PCP might have sold it? I will have to look into it.

Does anybody have an opinion on N-L or L-N names? Those are even harder to judge.
