I've owned the domain for almost 8 years now.

Any thoughts on a possible value?

It's definitely increased in value from 8 years ago.

It's actually a very good domain i think.
past 8 years you have had more material than you could have dreamed of.
I think it will always be relevant unfortunately, unless Ron Paul managed to get in.
I'm 40 and in my lifetime you have had an endless stream of assholes in the whitehouse. Hands up I bought Obama, for the first 3 months.

All your great statesman are a long way in the past I'm afraid, either on black and white film or before the camera was invented.
But there is hope, you have had some legends in the past.

x,xxx domain imo to get back on topic

Thanks so much for the input!

Seemed like with the increase of social media and digital marketing that this domain has definitely started seeing an increase in value since 2002.

just think it is memorable and because it's generic with the 'president' bit it is effectively timeless. can be used over
plus there is never ending amount of people with axe to grind, plus you get traffic (when developed) of all the supporters running to post comments to defend!

great potential popcorn and political site!

pres. of U.S. is unique in sense most important and powerful person in world 9apart from people pulling strings behind scenes) and everyone in world is interested and has opinion

I doubt most people could name Canadian premier for example or would even care elsewhere in world. U.S different ballgame

It'll be worth more after the election and people know they are stuck with someone for four years. No matter who wins a lot of people will feel that way. If it were me, I wouldn't sell prior to that.

------

On a side note, I just took a look at whois and see that your from Columbia Missouri, I've been there many times, enrolled at Chapman Academy in early 2000, we were all very saddened to hear about Ray's passing. I'm assuming your familiar with the range, if not then please forgive me.

-------

I'm going to agree with Pred on this one, mid x,xxx end user.

I would also agree with domainsellerz that if incumbent wins re-election, it would definitely be worth more, I would go as far to say 5 times more, I'd go higher if it weren't for the fact this name could suggest any sitting president, but of course we all know what president sucks the most right now, hopefully you'll be able to sell or monetize on it while he's still Prez.

I'd like to know what the traffic stats are if you could please post them, If their high, you might want to consider parking if your not planning to develop.

At any rate, Good luck with it ;)

the value of the domain is proportional to the traffic received over those 8yrs.

as in, how much traffic it got when bush was prez, versus how much since obama has been prez.

since both sucked in the eyes of those opposed to them, the volume of, or lack of traffic could determine who sucks the most.

therefore value is strictly based on number of visitors.

also, i think this is a case where "the" as a prefix, would be better.

imo...

Good concept, but similar (IMO opinion) superior names are available to hand reg;

MyPresidentSucks(.)com
USPresidentSucks(.)com
ThisPresidentSucks(.)com

My opinion of value: reg fee

I think it's a reg fee name. Mostly because you can sell domains that are tied to products or services but not a domain thats tied to a concept that would require a ton of work with no immediate returns. I hope I'm wrong though!

That's interesting because I'd be willing to pay $300 for it right now, today... Far from my appraised price because it would be used for everything but profit.

There you go Scott. It's worth 300 bucks. After all the only appraisal that counts is an offer.

I remember some time back I asked members to appraisal a domain, one member appraised at $0, another offered me $500, needless to say the domain sold this year for $8000... To a end user, it will of course be worth far more than what I offered, but of course you know this.

Thanks everyone for all the input! I plan on holding onto the domain until after the election.

Unless a president named Sucks comes along, it's not worth as much as ThePresidentSucks.com
