Would it be legal to put some fake address when registering a domain?

The terms of the domain registration contract require that you provide a correct address.

If the address is incorrect, the domain registration contract is breached, and the domain registration can be revoked at any time.

Further, if someone reports the incorrect information to ICANN via the WDPRS (whois data problem reporting system), the complaint is forwarded to the registrar, who may delete the registration if it is not corrected within 15 days.
