In my opinion, any (g,cc,s)TLD can outrank dot Com on Google. It can be done by the right promotion methods and comparative sites.

.Com is only good because EVERYONE knows it. I can register a dot CA and promote it; and if people like it, they will be returning visitors no matter what.

Everything depends on the delivery system.

I agree completely. The customers do not care which extension the site is as long as it gives them the info or product that they were searching for.. .coms are only better for type in traffic..
