Nice naming. Direct marketing too the host industry/end buyer should prove fruitful.
Undeveloped, to a name reseller $125 max
Undeveloped to an end user/host provider $250 or more
Developed, with traffic.. $500 - $1500 (depending on traffic & revenue which is consistant/auto rebilled mthly)
GoodLuck
reseller $125 max? //Maybe in texas?
Developed, with traffic.. $500 - $1500 //remind me not to move to texas!
I wouldn't develop a site for less than 2K...let alone sell a name like prohost.com with it.
I can look out my window and about a mile away I see a big shiney building made of glass thats 5 stories high and has an MS like campus and park out front with the name HostPro in big neon letters.
They'd probably pay 5,000+ for the name with the right approach.
As hard as hosting names are to come by it wouldn't surprise me one iota.
How much better do they get?
ProHost, HostPro, Colo, the list goes on but the names get longer.
When I give valuations I try and make them close to what a reseller would pay. It takes a lot of work to make top-retail-dollar on a domain. Ands it's not that unusual for a domain to change hands multiple times before it reaches potential resell value.
This name is a few steps ahead of its PRV.
CoolHost is drooling in his sleep over this name! LOL
JMHO
Good Luck!
