I am thinking about trying to build a casino site. Does anyone have any insight or advice as to the pros and cons to this type of venture. Obviously if you are going to do it right, you want the right amount of financial backing, however what I'm curious about is the legal, operational type stuff, etc.

Thanks...

I checked into this once and found it to be a very expensive undertaking to be an independent casino operator. There is also major competition in this area. Once place you may want to look at is here - http://www.worldgamingplc.co.uk/ . But it requires a major upfront investment. I've found that an affiliate program is the way to go. No upfront cost, no risk. I run one site at www.QueensCasino.com and it just sits there and brings in money and I didn't have to invest a dime. If you want more info on the aff. program I'm in, let me know, but there are many to be found.

PM that info if you wouldn't mind. I check your site out, http://www.queenscasino.com and it looks really good. I like affiliate programs that help you build your own brand.

thanks for the info btw!! Very helpful.

You should first start a site as an affiliate. If you have marketed it well and it starts to make a lot of money, then you turn it into your own custom casino.
