I am selling the website http://www.psphome.com

The sale does not include the forum at http://www.sengo.com.

The site has made $9,577.92 on Google since July 7th. This is since it has been channel tracked - in the 5 months before I had no other real sites demanding channels. $8,416.38 was earnt in these 5 months, but I guess it is up to you whether you factor this in, as I have no definitive proof that this was earnt by PSPhome.

I have had little time recently to update the site, I've only gotten around to it every 2 weeks or so. As a result, things have dipped slightly. The new owner can rectify this by updating news a few times per week. December has been the month in which traffic dropped off a little, but Adsense still earned $1,031.56.

I have recently added Chitika eMiniMalls, which have been bringing in an extra $8 a day.

I am selling due to offline commitments.

I run the site on my own server - costs $200/mo, but uses nowhere near it's full resources.

The site has overture with extension of 99. Without extension, the count is 110. Peak traffic was 17,000 uniques in a single day, peak revenue was $241 in one day via adsense.

Channeled AdSense Revenue
Unchanneled AdSense Revenue
Recent traffic stats (dropped a bit)
Longer term traffic stats
Chitika

Considering I am not including a forum, and the recent drop in stats, I will give you a good price. This site has averaged $55 a day for around 9 months now. If the new owner should update daily and work on developing this perfect platform of a site, you could easily be managing the biggest PSP site around.

Minimum offer - $8k
Buy It Now - $13K

Payment by Escrow, offers and questions by PM.

Thanks,

What are the main keywords it ranks in Google for?

We don't do so great on Google anymore.

Formerly, PSPhome was on the front page for "PSP", "PSP Games", "PSP Accessories", "PSP News" and more. However, a lack of updates has meant rankings have slipped.

Try searching for Sony PSP, PSP or Sony PSP Games on MSN though, the site is nicely placed here.

I have had blips on Google before, where the site drops from the SERPs for a month or 2, then returns. If rankings return to their former position, you will make $100+ a day.

PSP Home made an average of $31 a day during December with AdSense.

This month AdSense is averaging $28 a day, plus Chitika revenue of $6 per day on top.

My previous BIN was largely based on the site's good 7 months of earning $55 a day. However it's unrealistic to expect a sale at this rate when things have slowed down. As a result, I will consider offers over $8,000, with a BIN of $13,000. PM me offers and questions :-)

how much time is needed to maintain the content on the site? Also how much of the revenue will stay if there is no forum for the site?

To keep the site at $30 a day you don't really need much work at all. If you update daily, you can get it making $60 a day. it's all a question of how much time you want to put in. The forum has nothing to do with the revenue - it's first time visitors who usually click ads.

For some reason I am not seeing a PR on the home page, but other pages have it.

Is a site that has made $15k + in a year worth anything?

I think the answer is yes. The new buyer can always start up their own forum on the site.

My toolbar shows PR0 as well.. Is this a pump and dump?

Why does the whois show it recently listed as for sale on Sedo?

http://whois.sc/psphome.com

http://www.sedo.com/search/details.php4?language=us&domain=psphome.com&partnerid=17505

UPDATE: I think I see what's wrong. It looks like your site has been or is in the process of being penalized by Google. They already stripped your PR and may be removing it from the listings all together.

Go to http://www.webuildpages.com/neat-o/ and put in psphome.com

Check out all the junk links you have to psphome.com from SE spam sites.

Searching google for psphome barely mentions your site.

The info:www.psphome.com command returns an entirely different domain.

Hi All,

You should all be aware that yesterday and maybe over the next few days google has been showing a sites previous page rank and back links on a few of its data centres. This is not the first time this has happened.

None of these "junk links" have been established by me. I suspect they are a result of being Dmoz listed. I agree that Google is having some strange issues with the site, but as I also said, we barely get any traffic from Google. I have never used any black hat SEO tactics - everything I have done has been perfectly legit - link building, mod_rewrite, keyword optimisation etc. I am sure the issues with Google can be easily rectified by someone who knows how.

Steen, PMd you with my MSN address :-)
