Dear all,

I have a question concerning my domain "pushtotalk.com". Is it right that american internet users don't use hyphens in domainnames? Would you therefore say that "pushtotalk.com" is better than "push-to-talk"? What pricerange do you imagine for this domain?

It may be added, that the pushtotalk technology seems to revolutionize the mobile Telecom business....

Best wishes from Austria

You have a fine domain there. NO - no hyphens required! PTT is ALL over the news today in the UK like bad rash as Orange seem to be doing something big with it worldwide. That domain is a definite HOLD! Congrats!

Thanks for your statement! I know from my own experience (Last weekend I have been for the first time in London - amazing, unbelieveable city!), that Orange pushes this service throughout the medias. According to other websites, every Cellularphone producer like Nokia, Siemens, Motorolla,... implements the PTT technology into the new models.

Anyway, what do you think about the price? Which pricerange is realistic?

Best wishes

Christoph, to be frank, I couldn't put a value on it really. I'd say $5000 but that might be a wild underestimate if this PTT takes off -- if it DOES take off, then you have the ultimate domain for it, so maybe thinking again; $50,000. Plus, the deployers have the bucks to pay that kind of price. If I were you, I would just keep it and watch what happens in the news. I wouldn't sell it if I was offered $1000 for it - be reactive and not proactive. The offer will come. It's a fine domain.

considering it looks like he bought it for a little more than this, i don't think he would accept that offer either.

Well, looks like I wasn't far out then. I'll give him $1500 for it now.
